My Name Is Angel And I Am A Writaholic

My name is Angel and I am a writaholic. I have been writing and being paid for writing on the internet since 1998.

I have been writing on Xomba since July of this year and I think Xomba has a lot of potential.

I was somewhat taken aback when I first started on Xomba, as I expected it to be more of a community.... but it isnt... And I like a community... so I decided to provide a place where we can build one for ourselves. In the process I think that we will increase our earnings on Xomba and have some fun.

However, it will be a little work. Not too, much, but a little.

Xomba really is a great place... however, it has its limitations. It depends almost exclusively on search engines to deliver readers.... and that means that articles have to fit within certain criteria to draw readers.

Once the reader gets to Xomba they are exposed to a limited number of article titles on the main page that they may choose to read and there are categories where they can go and browse for articles.

That is a fine system for those articles that draw the search engines and for those that happen to be on the front page at the moment.

However, I have written bytes and blurbs and had them knocked off the front page in minutes by newer posts.

If they have a title for which people are searching, they will still get reads....but if I have written them with a catchy creative title or they are about something not everyone has yet heard about ... no one is searching for them and they languish unread in the backfiles of Xomba.

And if no one reads them no one clicks on the ads and I dont make any money....

I am sure you have all experienced the same problem.

I would like to do a little experiment and see if we can do something to build a bit of a community and get a few more reads and more exposure for our articles. I am looking for volunteers.... 19 of them to be exact.

You will each need 5 Xombytes or blurbs that dont get many reads or clicks.

So if you would like to join me in my little experiment, post a comment and links to your five articles.

When there are 20 of us, we can continue to the next step.... yeahhhhhh
